Cobia June 12 Half Days
Well after an awesome morning half day we had an unreal afternoon half day catching 12 Cobia and boxing 9 with four being citations..79.5 76.5 65 and 40 lbs..That’s getting it done in four hours…!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

Last Day in Hatteras….
Beautiful day on the ocean..nice class of gaffer dolphins and a few boilers.Thanks for the great time guys.Cobia tomorrow if there not all cut n half.
Hatteras Update
The Fistful headed to Hatteras Village chasing the fish!! We have been fortunate to enjoy some fantastic fishing with great groups! Dolphin fishing has been off the hook with the bonus of an “almost” grand slam – caught 1 white, jumped off a sail, and had a blue one in the spread on the way south last week! The Cobia fishing has been hopping as well with plenty of mackerel and bluefish to play with while looking for the big fish. Our internet access is sketchy at best down there so here’s a quick picture update from some of the last week’s trips… 🙂 Thanks everybody!!!
End of another season…
Well after two years Martin Mcnally returns back down east to hunt with us… He picked up right were he left off scoring first thing this morning with a great strutter..What a great hunt. This one was going to be ten yards from us when he got the smack down. What a great season. Always sad to see turkey season go away. It’s what spring is all about..We ended on a high note for sure. We are happy to say we had a one hundred percent success rate for all of our hunters this year.. This is Martin closing out our year.. LETS GO FISHING! !!
Dolphin Day
What better way to kick off the upcoming fishing season than to load up the dolphin with “Team Helmkamp”!! Congratulations and great job John, Dougie, Chris, and Scott!!! Thank you so much for coming down and fishing with us… you made the day!! Only 2 more days of Turkey season left to go then it’s officially time to fish…. LETS GO FISHING EVERYBODY!!
Last Week of the season….
Last week of turkey season starts tomorrow. .What a great season we have had..I lost my phone with pictures from week before last but will have them emailed to me from my guys to update..Had two days of doubles last week and had one killed all the other days except Saturday. The same for the week before..Thats world class strutter hunting any where you go..Thanks guys..
