SSSSSSSSSSSSS
/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports/by karlWe had the one and only S.W EARLY aka SSSSSSSSSSSS on the boat today for some gaffer action..We found a really nice spot of water close to the beach late in the day and wound up with a good catch of mahi between HANDSHAKES…Really good class of fish for the most part being true gaffers..We did have one 30 pounder make a daring escape jumping off the cockpit floor and into the ocean..Robert was not happy…We all had a great day..

/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports/by karlWe set out directly on the fish this day in 15 fathoms..The sea conditions were not perfect and we found ourselves back at the dock this day by 11 am..Three of the four guys were under the weather. We did have a good catch in just about an hour of fishing with a dozen dolphin and a couple of albacores and a blackfin…Dinkys is good for that…Thank you guys and look forward to seeing you soon.

/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports, Uncategorized/by kathyWith all the cold weather hanging around it’s hard to believe spring will ever get here…but it’s on the way!! Spring time is HATTERAS time for the Fistful boat and we are getting ready to head south in the next month for both OFFSHORE fishing in the Gulf Stream (Chasing DOLPHIN, TUNA, WAHOO, BLUES and WHITES and SAILS and more!) and NEARSHORE trips (for SPANISH MACKERAL, KING MACKERAL, BLUEFISH, and everything else close to the beach!)… our trips in the spring are run out of Hatteras Inlet and we typically stay until the first week of June before heading back to Pirate’s Cove for the Summer rush… In the mean time… we are currently running trips as hard as we can on our 23 Maycraft for the INSHORE SOUND ROCKFISH… Tons of fun on light tackle and lots of fish everywhere!! Tuesday March 8th Inshore rockfish
/1 Comment/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports, Uncategorized/by karlWe made a half day out of a blow day for Rich Hahn and his dad from New Jersey..Water conditions were not ideal in the sound today but the fish still gave us the action we were looking for.We managed to catch some nice fish on the cast before swithing over to trolling with the the light tackle..When we would hit them we would bend over three or four rods at the time making for some fast action. We kept a limit of fish for dinner and ended the afternoon with 25 or so fish..Really enjoyed having you guys with us today and thank you for the laughs and business..You can see dad had fun, he even caught one on my little girls pink pole..
