/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports/by karlThe bluefish continue to dominate the nearshore waters surrounding the inlet for our half days..Multiple fish on at the time are common problems and lots of action for all of our anglers..What they lack in size they make up for in rod bending action which is great for kids of all ages..A half day is about getting out on the water, enjoying the beauty of the ocean and the outer banks..Its not about catching blue marlins , tunas , and mahi. Its about good times with friends and family..Thats what we like to see..

/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports, Uncategorized/by kathyWe had a nice group from western North Carolina for a 3/4 day today… the warm water pushed in towards the beach to form a nice condition just outside of the inlet and these guys elected to head out to it and try the dolphin… it was a good decision! It’s a great feeling to find a species so close to the beach that you normally have to make a much longer run to… Pretty work fellas! Thank you so much for a great trip!
Fog Fog Fog… (July 10)
/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports, Uncategorized/by kathyWe finally had a day off and yes….we went fishing!! After navigating a major traffic jam this morning due to fog, we headed out and had a fantastic day on the water… The weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day offshore… I have tons of fog pics but not many offshore.. (I’ll try to do better next time) We did have an up close view of one of the whales… I’m still trying to figure out what species – not one of the normal critters we usually get to see…
