Summer fishing continues to be HOT!! A few weather days and the boys are back at it again… Great groups and great fishing are the best combination!!! Our Boat Builder’s Tournament Team had to change plans at the last minute which has suddenly opened us up several days this week – Give us a call if anyone is interested… an awesome opportunity to slide in on some great fishing!!!
Spring has been busy and tons of fun! A huge thank you to all our Spring Turkey hunters!! (Sorry for the lack of pics… the boss has them all 🙂 The first wave of crops are in the ground in prep for Duck Season and the Fistful got a quickie spring spruce up in prep for Fishing Season!! Our first trip is in the books and the boys found the Mahi to kick of the Summer… Pretty work guys!! We had June 11 open up if anyone is interested and we have several days available starting June 29 – Trips have been filling fast so please give us a shout if you are ready to get on the schedule. Time to Go Fishing!!!!!
A huge Thank You to all of our charters this season… you guys/gals/and youngsters ROCK!! What an awesome summer with tons of fantastic folks… thank you all!! We wrapped up the last few days with yummy Mahi and now this is the time of year the FISTFUL gets a rest as we turn our attention to the birds. Busy building, bushing, scouting, and prepping for our winter gang. We will be back in the ocean mid-May… looking forward to seeing everyone in the Spring!!
Apologies to all for the lack of posts…. it has been a busy few weeks!! We have had so many awesome groups and tons of fun!! A HUGE HUGE thank you to our PCBT Team with a special shout out to our Alice Kelly Girls!!! You gals rock!! The girls placed first in the Boat Decorating Contest and weighed in the 2nd and 3rd place tuna!! The boys had a fantastic showing during the main tournament finishing up 15th in a field of over 100 of the world’s best fisherman and boats – Way to go guys!!!! The rest of the offshore days have been full of TUNA, DOLPHIN (MAHI MAHI), TILEFISH, BILLFISH, and even a quickie tower stop to visit our old friends the AJs! Thank you again to all of our anglers!!! You are what makes what we do so special!!! We will be fishing a little deeper into the season this year before we make the jump to the birds… our last trips are scheduled for the beginning of October. We still have a few days open so please get your day if you are ready to get out there… LET’S GO FISHING!!

A quick catch up… other than a couple of weather days and an awesome 4th (what a gorgeous day to celebrate Independence Day!!) we have been chasing offshore fish non-stop! Fantastic fishing continues with Mahi Mahi, Tilefish, Billfish, and even some tuna still around!!! A huge thank you to all our groups – you guys and GALS rock!! This Thursday opened up last minute (July 15) and we have a few spots left the following week for both Offshore Full Days and our Nearshore Half Day (5 hour trip – Perfect for a family trip!) It’s time to fish… Let’s go!!!
Mahi Mahi has been the main course for us this past week… we had a few weather days and then a super nice class of fish with several citations!!! CONGRATULATIONS and a huge thank you to everybody!!! Lots of bill fish sightings and the TUNA are still around as well plus our first token Barracuda!! (Ceviche time!). A big shout out to our young anglers as well… it is tons of fun having the kids with us and getting the next generation hooked on this craziness is one of our passions! Give us a shout… it’s time to fish!
The season is in full swing! Variety is the name of the game for this year’s start… Cobia, Mahi, Drum, Spanish, Kings, Tiles, Blues, even a Puffer and already seeing some billfish (jumped off a sail yesterday)! The weather has been awesome and the fishing equally enjoyable… Thank you so much to everyone for getting this year rolling with so much fun!! We have had one of the busiest and most fun winters! Exhausting but crazy rewarding, super fun, non-stop and never a dull moment 🙂 A huge thank you to all our hunters… you guys are family to us and we cannot tell you enough how much we appreciate and love you!! We miss everyone already 🙁 We kicked off the season out west and then got down to business back home with waterfowl, upland game hunts, winter boat maintenance and continuing construction on the new lodge (completely restored 1850 farmhouse…almost 3 years of work and finally getting to the end!). Our lodge is scheduled to be up and running for turkey season and we are really excited to stop building and start enjoying it! Upland Game Preserve Season continues until the end of March and we have had a blast starting up this new adventure! We had a soft opening last season and with private hunts this year we are well on our way – we still have some availability this year of anyone is interested in getting some shooting in before it’s back to the water… Fishing will start rolling next month with inland Rockfish and we start chasing Turkeys in April… then… COBIA season!! We are starting to fill days in May and June for the Fistful so please give us a call if you have days you want to save… it won’t be long before the winter is gone and sunny warm fishing days return!! OFFSHORE FULL DAY trips are finding Dolphin (mahi mahi), Tiles, Sea Bass, Triggers, and more plus our Billfish are starting to show up!! Our 4 and 6 hours groups are after Drum, Mackerel, Cobia, Ribbons, Shark and even a Rattlesnake!?!? You never know! The weather has been awesome all summer until several days ago – Mother Nature kept us at the dock for a few days but she is straightening back out now and it’s time to go!!! Thanks again everybody…. always a blast to fish with all our anglers!! A few days opened up for us this coming week – give us a call and join in on all the fun!
Lucky to have this 1 , he was not hooked very good..Fish was really green and Casey ripped him over the side as the bucktail popped out of his mouth.Fish made our morning .We will take it..
