Quick update and now It’s Time to FISH!!

Spring has been busy and tons of fun!  A huge thank you to all our Spring Turkey hunters!! (Sorry for the lack of pics… the boss has them all 🙂  The first wave of crops are in the ground in prep for Duck Season and the Fistful got a quickie spring spruce up in prep for Fishing Season!!  Our first trip is in the books and the boys found the Mahi to kick of the Summer… Pretty work guys!!  We had June 11 open up if anyone is interested and we have several days available starting June 29 – Trips have been filling fast so please give us a shout if you are ready to get on the schedule.  Time to Go Fishing!!!!!

 

Fall Outer Banks Fishing!

Late summer/early fall is always an awesome time to fish on the Outer Banks!!  Our Tuna have stuck around and our dolphin are here too – not to mention the billfish bite!!  We are winding our season up the first week of October this year – we have a few dates left open on the final week and then we are on to the birds!  What a fantastic fishing season it has been so far… thank you so much to everyone!!!

Summer Catch Up!

Apologies to all for the lack of posts…. it has been a busy few weeks!!  We have had so many awesome groups and tons of fun!!  A HUGE HUGE thank you to our PCBT Team with a special shout out to our Alice Kelly Girls!!!  You gals rock!!  The girls placed first in the Boat Decorating Contest and weighed in the 2nd and 3rd place tuna!!  The boys had a fantastic showing during the main tournament finishing up 15th in a field of over 100 of the world’s best fisherman and boats – Way to go guys!!!!  The rest of the offshore days have been full of TUNA, DOLPHIN (MAHI MAHI), TILEFISH, BILLFISH, and even a quickie tower stop to visit our old friends the AJs!  Thank you again to all of our anglers!!!  You are what makes what we do so special!!!  We will be fishing a little deeper into the season this year before we make the jump to the birds… our last trips are scheduled for the beginning of October.  We still have a few days open so please get your day if you are ready to get out there… LET’S GO FISHING!!

Summer rolls on with AWESOME GROUPS and AWESOME FISHING!!!  A huge thank you to all our groups the last couple of weeks… you guys and gals are always tons of fun!!  Fishing has been off the hook with DOLPHIN (MAHI MAHI), TUNA, MARLIN, TILES, and more!!  Don’t miss out and get on the books – we still have some open days in August but they are going fast! Tuna Tuna Mahi Mahi and the Bills!!

Thank goodness the wind finally settled a bit… after several weather days waiting out the noreaster we were able to get back at today with our ace tuna crew – pretty work guys!!! The crowds before the blow chased dolphin, billfish, tuna, tiles and more plus our young offshore angler  (7 years going on 30) proved yet again that he may be small but he be mighty… Awesome job kiddo!! (As always!!)  Summer is here and so are the fish!  Give us a call – it’s time to get out there!!!

Mahi Mahi and More!

Mahi Mahi has been the main course for us this past week… we had a few weather days and then a super nice class of fish with several citations!!! CONGRATULATIONS and a huge thank you to everybody!!! Lots of bill fish sightings and the TUNA are still around as well plus our first token Barracuda!! (Ceviche time!).  A big shout out to our young anglers as well… it is tons of fun having the kids with us and getting the next generation hooked on this craziness is one of our passions!  Give us a shout… it’s time to fish!

It’s that time of year yet again…. Let’s go fishing!!!  Turkey season was phenomenal – thank you so much everybody!!! The first 10 days of this year have been full of fun, fish, fishing touches on the boat update, silly weather, and awesome groups!  Thank you to everyone that helped us kick off this fishing season with a blast!  TUNA, DOLPHIN, COBIA, WAHOO, and a few BILLFISH already!!  Give us a call to get on the books… things are wide open and tons of fun on the Outer Banks and trips are booking fast!!  Time to fish!!!

It’s officially Fall!!

Our hot summer months have slipped into cool Fall mornings, crisp Carolina blue skies, and continued awesome fishing!  The weather kept the Fistful at the dock several days the last month (definitely a sign of fall!) but that just gave us a good excuse to get some work done on our renovation projects for the lodge (Thank you Brandon and KB for all the help!!) and slip out for some of the BIG Red Drum!! (Pretty work E and Congratulations to Chip and the boys!!!!!)  As October approaches we look forward to more consistency from mother nature and are already seeing our tuna show!  This is also the time of year we begin our transition into waterfowl season… Geese and Teal for September with Duck Season soon to follow!  A bittersweet time… we hate to stable the Fistful but are so excited for the next season!!!  We will be fishing through much of October and have some days open for anyone looking to get out there!… The Blackfin tuna are here and the Yellowfin are typically close behind.  Give us a call!!

      

Awesome Summer Fishing!

Summer rolls on and the fishing continues to be awesome!  Mostly Offshore this past week – Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Tiles, and Billfish are on the main menu with a few Tuna, some Amberjack, Wahoo and one Giant Pink Flamingo (what tha????!! Pretty work Jess!!) thrown in!!  Nearshore trips are smacking the Ribbons plus Spanish and King Mackeral, Drum and an occasional Cobia!  Don’t miss out… late summer/early fall is typically fantastic fishing and the scorching heat starts to settle down into super comfortable weather… September is BILLFISH season and the marlin are already starting to show!! Let’s go fishing!!
