We had the honor of being able to take several fine young people out to share the beauty of mother nature and the waterfowl of our area.  A huge thank you to all of our young hunters and also their families for allowing us to participate in fostering a growing appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors in our youth.  It is tremendously rewarding to see members of the next generation becoming involved in activities so often replaced by ipods and cell phones… Thank you again and Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic job!!!

The Season draws to a close…

Another season is behind us… bitter sweet as always.  We are so fortunate to have so many guys that are not simply our hunters but are true and special friends.  We get so use to seeing you during the season and we truly miss your company once the season is done.  Thank you so much to everyone!  This year proved to be an exciting and challenging one… 70 degree weather and crazy winds… all to wrap up with welcomed shifts in temperature and wind direction.  Despite mother nature the hunting was great and the time spent even better!  We are already planning and looking forward to 2013-2014… Can’t wait to see everyone again!!

First Deer for Blain :)

With duck season rapidly approaching, Karl took a breather from preparations and spent a little time in the woods with 3 fine young men.  Congratulations to Blain for getting this beautiful buck as his first deer!!!  What a fantastic shot!  We have high hopes that this initial outing will set the stage for many more to come for him.  Cannon and Jarrod… you guys are next!

 

 

 

Bye Bye Sandy

Sandy has thankfully gone away… we are tremendously appreciative for the little damage she left in her wake for us and are keeping those who fared much worse in our thoughts.  The storm has stirred up the waterfowl and we are seeing species around that typically don’t show themselves this early!   We can’t wait to see what this season holds!!!  Days are filling rapidly… please give us a call if there is any interest in the 2012-2013 season!!  Karl: 252 – 395 – 1907 or info@fistfulsportfishing.com.

It’s that time!!! The ducks are on the move and we are once again eagerly awaiting opening day! 🙂  We were fortunate enough to get up north again this year and share the beginning of this season’s migration with some AWESOME friends… Thank you so much to everybody!! Fall Drum

We gathered up our buddy Mike and slipped down to Oriental, NC to get in on the drum bite with a great friend and fellow charter captain Richard Andrews of Tar-Pam Guide Service… Thanks Dickie!!!!!  What a blast!! Double digit catch and release action with several close to 50 inches!!!  Fall is the time to capitalize on these awesome fish… fantastic fun and wonderful weather always come together this time of year to create an incredible experience… don’t miss out – these fish won’t stick around long!
