Continued work and clean-up to prep for the ducks…the days keep going this time of year! The boss and gasoline: an adventurous combination after a full day of fishing 🙂
Nearshore July 31
The rumor that fishing was fantastic proved to be true… Great job everybody!!! A wonderful “split” group ventured out today to land all the Spanish Mackerel you could want plus the always exciting “hound-fish”… another great day on the water. Thank you all so much!!
July 31 Waterspout :)
Our dock partner captured this mid-morning image of the Fistful and a waterspout… along with the report that fishing was awesome!!! (Thank you wind shift!!) ….hopefully the boys got some pics and I’ll get them posted as soon as I get my hands on that camera 🙂

Nearshore 1/2 Days…
This week has been spent chasing the near shore species and having tons of fun with great groups!! Thank you so much to everyone!! The camera only made it on a few trips so please send pics if you have them and I’ll get them posted… Thanks again!!
Latest Update…July 21
The past week has been full of NEARSHORE trips… plenty of action and lots of fun for everyone! The weather kept the Fistful boat at the dock for a few days which allowed for continued work prepping for the fast approaching waterfowl season…It seems to arrive earlier every year! The latest project is getting our 18 pond duck farm ready for the migrating flocks… we are already looking forward to this year’s arrival and can’t wait to see everyone again! In the meantime – fishing continues non-stop… summertime is always a blast with all our groups… A huge thank you to everybody!!

Dodging the weather and having fun at the same time!! This water spout over Wanchese was one of several today…always impressive to watch mother nature in action. Spanish Mackerel and Blues for this trip…. Thank you guys so much!!
Full Day Nearshore July 12
A huge congratulations to Joey and Heather on their fast approaching wedding day!! The Fistful boat was fortunate enough to dodge the weather and take the boys out for some tower action before the big day… great work on the AMBERJACKS and a quick adrenaline rush on a big fish hook up (suspected to be a nice billfish!) before he stripped most of the line and pulled off… pretty work everybody!!! It was great to meet the family and our best wishes for an awesome time on Saturday and all the years ahead for you guys… we are so glad to know you both!! 🙂
