2014 Summer Fishing Season is fast approaching!
/in Uncategorized/by kathyA little reminiscing from last year’s (2013) COBIA bite… just a reminder of one of many incredible fisheries we have here on the Outer Banks. We are headed to Hatteras for a few weeks next month (May) to kick off the season then back to Manteo for the summer… Give us a call – Let’s go fishing!
Spring Haul Out
/in Outer Banks Fishing Reports, Uncategorized/by kathyAnother sure sign of spring…. time in the yard!! The Fistful is up and the boys are hard at work prepping for the fast approaching Summer season. A fresh coat of bottom paint, barrels of elbow grease, lots of love and tons of wax 🙂 We’ll spend a couple of weeks again in Hatteras this year beginning May 12th – Days are filling fast so anyone interested in fishing out of Hatteras please let us know as soon as possible!
Bluefin
/in Uncategorized/by kathyAs the commercial Bluefin season winds down we are gearing up for Spring Turkey and then on to the Summer Fishing Season!!!! Tons of excitement already this year starting with the close of an awesome waterfowl season (Thanks again to everybody! We miss you all already!! 😥 ), continued work on the farms to get ready for next year, great sound rockfish trips, the quickly approaching spring and all the fun that season brings, and then of course – summertime! It’ll be here before we know it 🙂 A few pics from yesterday’s outing with Karl, Casey and Russell… pretty work fellas!
Ducks!
/in Hunting - Waterfowl, Uncategorized/by kathyThe word of the day is DUCKS!! Things have been busy busy the last 2 months… never-ending prep work and upkeep to get ready for the big season bearing down on us Saturday (it’s almost here!), the short season (a HUGE thank you to our early crowd… always a blast!), and trips out to the central flyway. One of the highlights of our year is to start the season by heading out west to see lots of great old friends and make fantastic new ones… A part of the country where the scenery is breath taking, the duck activity unbelievable, and the people incredible. A piece of true America…Faith, Family, and Community are forefront and the friends are priceless. We are always so thankful to get back there and spend some time. And now back to business….We’re geared up and ready to get to it this season! The weather is ducky and the birds are flying… can’t wait to see everyone!
