As we roll into mid June the fishing continues to be fantastic! A mixed bag of trips and fish this past week – from Half Day Nearshore to Full Day Offshore… and everything in between. Dolphin… Tuna… Mackerel… Blues… Tons of fun with awesome people!! Thanks everybody!! The last 2 weeks of June are filling fast… give us a shout if you want to go!!
As we roll into June our fishing continues to be fantastic… The Tuna are still here but wont be for long!! Don’t forget the Cobia and bottom fish, Mackerel and Bluefish… something different every day and so much fun. Gib, Dickie, Mike, Bobbie and Dean and the boys – Thank you all so much! We are so fortunate to have such great folks in our lives… you guys are awesome!

The last 2 weeks have been full of great fishing and amazing charters! We have had a number of young anglers lately and what an impressive display of ability and enthusiasm from all of them – Every one of our kids jumped right into the fray and man… you can’t slow them down. Some are new to the game and some are already well on their way to becoming pros (B. Boys – you know who you are!!) – Awesome job everybody!! One of our goals is to create an experience for them (and their adults) that will turn into a life-long passion… it really gets your heart fired up to see that spark. Thank you so much to all our groups – Grown-Ups and Youngsters! *** A huge Thank You goes out to Capt. Jim on the HogWild and Capt. Troy on the Fowl Hooked for helping us juggle some of our groups during our unexpected quickie haul out and to all the gang down at Bluewater for pulling together and getting us up and running again – JP – we owe you… as usual!! Thank you so much…. I wish I could have seen you on that lift!! ***
Last but not least – we do have some days open for the next few weeks – the Fistful gets a break starting September 17th this year so let us know if you want to get out there before we turn to the ducks! The Billfish are starting to show… the dolphin are here on the Full Day trips… the Big Drum are hanging around… the Mackerel are snappin… the blues are snappin…the Jacks are snappin… the weather is beautiful… Let’s go Fishing!!
As we roll on with our summer season the fishing continues to be so exciting! The king mackerel have shown up, the big red drum are here, our amberjacks are still super spunky and the dolphin are moving in! Don’t forget about the Spanish and Blues – smaller fish and so much action and fun! (not to mention delicious!) Several of our local youngsters (including our little angler) participated in the annual Pirate’s Cove Small Fry tournament (Thank you Troy for taking the gang and Awesome work Nikki for a fantastic turn out!) and caught Spanish, Blues, Croaker, Spot, Spade fish, and more… keeping the kids into it is so important and we are very proud to be part of a community that supports our industry and our passion. We have some openings left next week for a few 4 hour trips and (1) 6 hour trip – give us a call… let’s go fishing!
Unbelievable that it is already July! A great time to stop and remember what a privilege it is to live in a free country and appreciate all the sacrifices that so many have made and continue to make in order to make what we do possible. The summer is in full swing and the fishing continues to be awesome – fantastic variety! Our weather was a little sporty for a couple of days but that didn’t slow anything down – dolphin, jacks, mackerel , blues, triggers, cobia, a barracuda, a sail, and more… Thank you so much to all our groups – you make our days!

I know I sound like a broken record but WOW! The remainder of August was filled with amazing fishing… unbelievable weather… and group after group of awesome people!! We appreciate everyone so much… you make our trips great and we hope to see everyone again soon! We are kicking off September with more of the same… We will be fishing until the 18th then it will officially be time for the birds. Please let us know asap if anyone is interested in getting in on the amazing action before we change gears… we have a few scattered spots available but they are filling fast 🙂

Another sure sign of spring…. time in the yard!! The Fistful is up and the boys are hard at work prepping for the fast approaching Summer season. A fresh coat of bottom paint, barrels of elbow grease, lots of love and tons of wax 🙂 We’ll spend a couple of weeks again in Hatteras this year beginning May 12th – Days are filling fast so anyone interested in fishing out of Hatteras please let us know as soon as possible!
