Chopper blues! June 13

Glenn joined us again today. We had tough luck pulling off two nice cobia out of the gate.Soon after we found a big spot of the big “chopper” bluefish and had a great time catching them on top water plugs and jigs.It was great to see them.We finished the day with a cobia.

2014 Summer Fishing Season is fast approaching!

A little reminiscing from last year’s (2013) COBIA bite… just a reminder of one of many incredible fisheries we have here on the Outer Banks.  We are headed to Hatteras for a few weeks next month (May) to kick off the season then back to Manteo for the summer… Give us a call – Let’s go fishing!

Cobia Hammerhead PM 1/2 Day

Our conditions from this morning fell apart but we st had a great catch..we landed three Cobia and killed two for our young anglers m however the most exciting part of the trip was not a Cobia at all we spotted a dark spot deep in the water 100 yds off of the bow assuming it was the one Casey threw the trickery on top of it and from the depths a 130 lb hammerhead comes firing up and eats..as that battle is in progress with our 7 year old angler I look of the bow and see a Cobia!! Throw the jig and GOTEEM ON!!! Double header hammerhead and Cobia at the same time..We landed the shark and released the Cobia for another day..What a day!! Thanks guys see you soon.congratulations to our young boys..great job..
