Nearshore 1/2 Days…
This week has been spent chasing the near shore species and having tons of fun with great groups!! Thank you so much to everyone!! The camera only made it on a few trips so please send pics if you have them and I’ll get them posted… Thanks again!!
Full Day Nearshore July 12
A huge congratulations to Joey and Heather on their fast approaching wedding day!! The Fistful boat was fortunate enough to dodge the weather and take the boys out for some tower action before the big day… great work on the AMBERJACKS and a quick adrenaline rush on a big fish hook up (suspected to be a nice billfish!) before he stripped most of the line and pulled off… pretty work everybody!!! It was great to meet the family and our best wishes for an awesome time on Saturday and all the years ahead for you guys… we are so glad to know you both!! 🙂
Another mass update :)
Nearshore trips continue to be full of FUN, BLUES, MACKEREL, DOLPHIN, COBIA, and MORE!!! We appreciate all our groups so much… Thank you all!!!
Week long update :)
I apologize for the delay in reports… crazy busy this time of year plus the camera is currently MIA – needless to say I unfortunately do not have any NEARSHORE pictures to put up at this time 🙁 To update everyone: the SPANISH MACKERAL bite has been incredible this week in addition to plenty of BLUEFISH providing tons of action and loads of fun!! We have come across several COBIA as well on the nearshore trips – many making back to the dock and one heart-breaker that broke the line after an hour long fight… estimates on weight for the escapee have ranged from 80 to 100 lbs… bummer for the boys 🙁 The FULL DAY DEEP DROP/TROLLING trips have been awesome for DOLPHIN (The back up camera made it on this trip so I can post some evidence!)… several COBIA have been running with the dolphin schools and at times caught at the same time!! Great weather and fantastic fishing have been the theme this week!!! Trips are booking fast right now so please let us know if you have dates you want us to save… we have had several spots get booked out from under some of our groups lately that waited until the last minute – we hate to not get the chance to take everybody that wants to go!!
June 22 Full Day
What a hard working group of young anglers (and grown-ups too!)… The dolphin are cooperating and staying close to shore – thankfully within range for a Full Day trip. Our youngsters toughed out some sporty seas and worked like crazy to get a lot of nice fish to the boat… Fantastic job everybody!! Thank you all so much!

It’s so nice when the weather is good and the fishing is even better!! Awesome day with Tom, Tiffany, and the rest of the crew…. thank you so much!! Congratulations to Tiffany for adding another first catch to the list – pretty work on your Cobia!!

Spanish Mackerel!!
Great mackerel fishing today with a fantastic family… Thank you guys so much!! Congratulations to these fine upcoming anglers for an awesome job bringing home plenty of dinner!!
June 1 Dolphin :)
With no charters scheduled today we decided to venture off for a family fun trip before the summer gets too busy for everyone to go… It was a sporty day for dolphin with all the schools hanging out under a ton of scattered grass…. lots of time spent cleaning up the spread but despite all that plus an afternoon gulfstream dive by the Capt and Mate under the boat to free up the wheel from a monster knot of rope…everybody came home with plenty to eat! A special thank you to Pop John, Uncle Dougie, and Madison for going with us 🙂
