What a fun crew! From the great state of Texas plus our home state NC… Thank you for an awesome trip! There was no slowing down these kids – they were professionals from the start… tons of action all afternoon.. Rob, Kathy, Samantha and Matthew… Chris (thanks for riding along!), Simon, and Emilia… Great job everybody!

Our friend Greg sent some pictures he took on an offshore trip we did a few weeks ago… Thank you Greg! The near-shore action has been great this week… I’ll get some more reports up as soon as I have those pics… Thank you so much to all the great folks that have been fishing with us!

We had a nice group from western North Carolina for a 3/4 day today… the warm water pushed in towards the beach to form a nice condition just outside of the inlet and these guys elected to head out to it and try the dolphin… it was a good decision! It’s a great feeling to find a species so close to the beach that you normally have to make a much longer run to… Pretty work fellas! Thank you so much for a great trip!

Got chased in by the weather before we had much time to fish this afternoon… we’ll get ’em another day 🙂 we did get to check up on one of the local osprey families…

Fog Fog Fog… (July 10)
We finally had a day off and yes….we went fishing!! After navigating a major traffic jam this morning due to fog, we headed out and had a fantastic day on the water… The weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day offshore… I have tons of fog pics but not many offshore.. (
I’ll try to do better next time) We did have an up close view of one of the whales… I’m still trying to figure out what species – not one of the normal critters we usually get to see…
Outer Banks Scenery….
T. C. …… you KNOW I’m going to get my hands on that camera eventually!!! You never know what will show up on a “fishing report”…. Is this what I’m missing when I don’t get to tag along?? Thank goodness Karl didn’t zoom in hahahaha 🙂
