The MARLIN are here!!!

August is always so much fun!!  The PIRATE’S COVE BILLFISH TOURNAMENT and the all girl ALICE KELLY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT were both a blast and full of fish, excitement, and a battle down to the last minute!  3 BLUE MARLIN to the scales plus huge numbers caught and released!!  A big shout out to our tournament team – you guys are awesome and so much fun!!!!  Thank you!!!  August has also thrown a little weather our way but the fishing continues to be red hot and it got even hotter after the last hurricane that rolled east of the OBX!!!  Another puff of Northeast wind will give us a few days off for the Labor Day weekend and we are so excited to see what kind of bite follows!!!!!  The marlin are here like days of old and what a great time to get out there!!!  Awesome fishing and cooler weather is a hard combination to beat!  Lots of first catches these last few weeks but just a special congratulations to Ms. DB – not only did she land her first BLUE MARLIN – she followed that up with her first TWO WHITE MARLINS!!!!! What a day!!! Pretty work and yay points for the girls!!!  We have a few days left open before our season turns the page to wings… Our last day this year will be September 20 so LET’S GO FISHING!!!!!
