Summer rolls on with AWESOME GROUPS and AWESOME FISHING!!! A huge thank you to all our groups the last couple of weeks… you guys and gals are always tons of fun!! Fishing has been off the hook with DOLPHIN (MAHI MAHI), TUNA, MARLIN, TILES, and more!! Don’t miss out and get on the books – we still have some open days in August but they are going fast! It’s official – The Outer Banks will be open to ALL visitors starting Saturday May 16th at 12:01 am! We are so excited to be opening our doors to all of our visitors… we hope everyone is safe and healthy and we are looking forward to getting back on the water. We have the 27th and 28th still available in May and more options in June for anyone looking to get out there in the near future. Offshore fishing continues to be fantastic and the Cobia are set to show any day now! Give us a call to save your day or if anyone has any questions during this crazy time… Most of our restaurants are open for take and/or delivery (and need all of our support now more than ever!) and our area is actively practicing social distancing plus sporting PPE in our groceries, pharmacies, and other retail establishments where distancing may be difficult (so bring your favorite fishing buff – it’s dual purpose now!). Please keep in mind that essential supplies (such as the ever elusive toilet paper and paper towels) are still limited and bringing as many of these items as you can with you is recommended. Thanks to all who have been patiently waiting… see you soon!! P.S… a few quick memories from last season… Let’s go fishing!!!
As we are winding down our season the Nearshore action is ramping up! Our Spanish Mackeral are snapping and the bluefish have shown up… super fun trips and awesome eating fish! Our 4 and 6 hour trips are targeting these species and still watching for the Drum and Cobia… great for kids and a beautiful way to see the Outer Banks… We have a few spots still open the next 10 days then we change seasons… let’s go fishing!

A huge Thank You to all our anglers the last couple of weeks! Pretty work everybody!!! OFFSHORE FULL DAY trips are finding Dolphin (mahi mahi), Tiles, Sea Bass, Triggers, and more plus our Billfish are starting to show up!! Our 4 and 6 hours groups are after Drum, Mackerel, Cobia, Ribbons, Shark and even a Rattlesnake!?!? You never know! The weather has been awesome all summer until several days ago – Mother Nature kept us at the dock for a few days but she is straightening back out now and it’s time to go!!! Thanks again everybody…. always a blast to fish with all our anglers!! A few days opened up for us this coming week – give us a call and join in on all the fun!
Lucky to have this 1 , he was not hooked very good..Fish was really green and Casey ripped him over the side as the bucktail popped out of his mouth.Fish made our morning .We will take it..

The COBIA are here!! We have had an incredible week with these awesome fish!! Thank you so much to all our groups… so much fun!!
The cobia fishing has been phenomenal so far with several days catching and releasing dozens after we get our limit… we are part of the North Carolina tagging program which provides information as to what our Cobia population is doing – this gives us a great opportunity to see multiple fish up close while contributing to their continued well being. We still have a few days left open the last 2 weeks of June but they are filling fast…. Give us a call if you have any interest before these fish move north!
Fishing Season has Officially begun and the COBIA are here to kick it off right!!!
We wrapped up another phenomenal turkey season thanks to all our crew!! There is nothing quite like Spring in the woods and to be able to share all we treasure with great friends and family is beyond words…. Non-stop back porch stories, delicious meals right off the grill, fun and fellowship and simple appreciation of what mother nature offers us all every day – we can’t say Thank You enough to everyone.
On to the COBIA!! These fantastic fish are on the move and coming up the coast fast – fishing as been off the hook this week and the weather has cooperated despite the forecast (a true testament to NEVER fully believe the weather forecast on the Outer Banks…. the dart board technique is alive and well!)
Near future Dates available at this time are: May 21 and 22, 28, 31, and June 1. Some scattered dates are still open the last 2 weeks of June. Don’t miss out on this fishery… our Cobia will often move out by July so give us a call soon if you want to target these fish! In other news further off the beach – the DOLPHIN (MAHI MAHI) are showing up, the boys got into the TILEFISH already, and the TUNA are still biting! Let’s go fishing!
